Use Aftermarket Vehicle Parts instead of OEM, when possible
If you’re looking to save money on your vehicle repairs, you may want to consider using aftermarket parts instead of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) parts. Aftermarket parts are generally less expensive than OEM parts, and they can often be just as good in terms of quality. Of course, there are some exceptions to this rule, so it’s always a good idea to do your research before making a purchase.
Aftermarket parts are easier to locate and purchase the older the vehicle’s model year. This means that current year models are too new for aftermarket manufacturers to produce OEM alternative parts.
Basically, if you’re simply looking to save some money, aftermarket parts may be the way to go.
